Where is it Going?
With many different devices emerging in the world of technology the applications are endless. Mobile technologies will have a great impact on the future learning of students. Future technologies will be able to present textbooks, create data visualizations, aid library research, and foster contextual learning (Educause, 2010).
As technologies improve so will the devices and applications for these devices. This will allow learners easier access and better support for collaborative, muti-media learning. With the quick retrieval of information students will take learning outside the walls of a classroom changing the landscape of the learning environment (Educause, 2010).
